Dem Convention 2012

Dateline:  Tuesday, Sept. 4, 2012.  My living room. 

Ok...so I'll come out and admit it ---  Yes, I'm not a Republican.   Yes, I don't mind being bored so I'm watching the Convention in it's entirety on C-Span.  Yes, I'm not listening to every speaker.  Yes! Yes! Yes!  I am the party of Yes!!!

That being said, I'm still excited to see the U.S. in all it's many textures and colors represented in Charlotte.  Really, you know, the Tampa crowd could have been televised on Black and White and nobody would have been left out.  Black suits and white people...yep...that's about it.   Oh they did throw in a few slices of Spanish and Soul food but if you blinked, you missed it.

This is only my second blog.  My first blog described my one and only trip to Cape Canaveral to see the Atlantis Shuttle launch.  It's on WordPress and I can't get into it because of some damn cookie situation so....I've chosen this platform for my next blog.

I am a Facebook member but have elected to say NOTHING political on my wall because it creates such a toxic environment.  By blogging, I can say what I wish to say and people may choose to read what I write but that is their choice.  They can disagree all they want but my blog is just that.....MY BLOG!  If you don't like what I say, then "Sayonara Baby!"
